Year-on-year gains across every key streaming metric reinforce what a measurable broadcast audience is worth to a championship's commercial partners.
The National Drag Racing Championship has recorded major year-on-year audience growth on 7plus, with the 2026 Riverbend Nationals delivering strong gains across every key streaming metric compared with the same event in 2025.
Total viewing minutes were up 65.2% on last year's event. Total stream starts rose 53.1%, while unique users climbed 37.7%.
Held at Dragway at The Bend in Tailem Bend, South Australia, the Riverbend Nationals featured BLAHST Top Fuel, XPRO Nitro Funny Car, Top Doorslammer, Top Fuel Motorcycle, Pro Alcohol, Pro Mod and the Aeroflow National Sportsman Championship.
The broadcast result highlights the championship's growing national reach and reinforces its value for racers, teams, sponsors and commercial partners. Growth in the broadcast audience delivers increased exposure, deeper engagement and stronger integration opportunities across live and digital platforms.
It also compounds down the chain. As the championship's audience grows, so does the commercial value individual racers can offer their own sponsors.
